Welcome to our website. Boldavier is owned by Stephen & Sarah, we hope you enjoy our site and our dogs.

We have shared our lives with our gorgeous dogs for over 18 years and enjoy showing and occasionally breeding our French Bulldogs.  Our dogs are our pets and they always come first, we never force them to show. If they prefer the sofa, that's where they'll be!

We have been involved with showing and our local training club for over 16 years.  We have been on the committee of our local Ringcraft Club for many years and Steve has judged Staffords and other breeds over the years.  We also established and run a French Bulldog Ringcraft & Social club in Basildon, Essex (Essex French Bulldog Club)

All our dogs are KC registered and have the relevant health screening. These are important tests which we feel are vital to the benefit of our breed and to maintaining the future good health of our dogs and puppies. We health test our dogs through French Bulldog Club of England health scheme as well as heart test with specialist cardiologists and test for Hereditary Cataracts (HC). All our dogs are tested CLEAR for Heart & HC.

Our puppies are raised in a home environment, where they can get used to everyday life, noises and lots of cuddles. We have a policy that none of our puppies can be rehomed without our permission and if the situation did ever arise, we would endeavour to rehome or take back the puppy / dog.

We believe that when you take on a dog, you must be prepared to look after them for all their life and this stands for any puppies we breed. We take care in vetting all our prospective owners and feel we are responsible for our puppies for the rest of their lives, not just 8 weeks. We are dedicated to our dogs and our breeds.
